Rock Paper Scissors, written by Alice Feeney, is a psychological thriller novel that turns itself around a man and his wife, Adam and Amelia, respectively, having a rough time in their marriage. They both agree to spend a weekend alone at a cottage in Scotland in the Highlands as a way of coming back together.

But the reality was different, and as they progressed in the story, they discovered lies and secrets within the relationship. It has their points of view, and there is a unique twist of the rock-paper-scissors struggle between the two, as well. Schematics are revealed, and old hurts and resentments are brought to the forefront as a horrifying event unfolds, which looks at the nature of trust, betrayal, and love.
