A young couple, Tricia and Ethan, are in search of their new home when they find themselves in front of a manor that used to belong to Dr. Adrienne Hale, a psychiatrist who had disappeared four years ago. When the villains cut all the communications and the roads to the estate, and they can’t leave the house until the storm stops, they want something to do, and Tricia wants it.
She stumbles upon a secret chamber covered with audio tapes referring to all the sessions that Dr. Hale had with the patients. As Tricia listens to the tapes, she finds herself listening to a tape containing a story of events that happened, which led to Dr. Hale disappearing. Every tape is a new discovery of something more disturbing in the picture of the whole story that Dr. Hale tried to fabricate. When Tricia has reached the last cassette, she hears the entire horrific truth.
