Hooked Book Summary

Hooked is Peter Pan, like you’ve never seen before. It was written by Emily McIntire, USA Today’s best-selling author. James has one mission to get rid of his enemy, Peter Michaels. This is so when a young woman, Wendy, aged twenty years, approaches his bar, and he considers the possibility. His plan? She could be used to make the man who betrayed him suffer for his actions or deeds.

Perhaps there were many of them, and she could be coaxed into sleeping with the man, and then he could discipline the man in bed. However, when the start of his organization’s breakdown transpires, James has the opportunity to learn that there is a spy on his team. Difficulties set in, and he falls in love with Wendy. she is not just an object for him on his slate.

Right now, Wendy is a young lady who was raised in her father’s house as a rather unpleasant and selfish man. She is on a date for a romantic dinner, and then she meets a mysterious man, James. Of course, she is fully aware of the fact that he is a killer, and yet, like a vixen, she cannot seem to get enough of him. The two themes of love and passion arise with the given events, and as Wendy becomes closer acquainted with James and his wicked atmosphere, she has no way of knowing whether or not she is in love with James or the pirate named Hook.

Hooked itself is a dark contemporary romance, and Never After Series is a series of fractured fairy tales in which all villains get the chance for a happily ever after. This piece is for grown persons, and some may feel that the content is too harsh; therefore, there is this disclaimer. As always, this book is best saved for mature readers, and for more details regarding the specific warnings, you can find them at the author’s website.
