Wapsi Novel By Umera Ahmed

Wapsi is credited as based on the work of Pakistani writer Yasir Shah’s Shrine, which Umera Ahmed was given to do a screen adaptation of. The third narrative follows three friends: Payal, a prostitute; Maju, a masseur; and Noshi, a transgender man, in their attempts to fulfill their aspirations, harden their lives to the realities of their subordinates’ social and personal realities, and have to bear their return to self discovery and redemption.
