Mary Kubica is the author of the mystery thriller novel titled Local Woman Missing. Shelby Teabow, a young wife, and mother takes off one night for a jog and vanishes. Several days later, another woman, Meredith Dickey with her daughter Delilah are kidnapped too near the place where Shelby was kidnapped. This makes the inhabitants of the town panic because the place is often safe nd quiet.
Delilah Dickey was found and brought back to her broken father, Josh, and reserved younger brother, Leo, but the world still hasn’t figured out what really happened 11 years ago.
